How do I become a volunteer?

There are three easy steps to becoming a volunteer at Waikato or Thames hospitals:

Contact our volunteer coordinator to discuss what opportunities are currently available. This is a good time to ask any questions you may have about volunteering and to discuss your availability.
Complete our application form.
Attend a training session and be orientated into your position by staff and / or another volunteer.

How do I get a professional photograph for my profile?

Staff employed by The Waikato DHB can log a request in the Customer Portal.

Go to: Requests > Log a Request > Written & Visual Communication > 361 Photograph and Audiovisual request.
