Referrals- Clinic letters are sent to those who refer patients by fax or letter.
- Referrals in advance are preferred over a letter sent with the patient, to help ensure appointments are with the most appropriate member of the team.
- Clinic letters are not usually sent if patients self-refer or attend without a referral letter.
