Social Workers
What we offerFree service to individuals, families/whanau and communities who require assistance when dealing with health and disability issues which affect the normal functioning of daily life. Our service may:
- assist clients to access the resources they require including carer support, accommodation, disability support, transport, etc
- offer support in a crisis
- facilitate family meetings
- assist clients access assistance form other agencies e, ACC, WINZ, etc
- assist clients as they make important life decisions
- ensure that clients’ rights are being respected
- provide help in issues of suspected abuse and neglect for older people and dependent adults i.e. family violence
- provide short term counselling where there is a health issue involved.
Hours of service8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays)
