Social Workers

What we offer

Free service to individuals, families/whanau and communities who require assistance when dealing with health and disability issues which affect the normal functioning of daily life.

Our service may:
  • assist clients to access the resources they require including carer support, accommodation, disability support, transport, etc
  • offer support in a crisis
  • facilitate family meetings
  • assist clients access assistance form other agencies e, ACC, WINZ, etc
  • assist clients as they make important life decisions
  • ensure that clients’ rights are being respected
  • provide help in issues of suspected abuse and neglect for older people and dependent adults i.e. family violence
  • provide short term counselling where there is a health issue involved.

8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays)
