What we offer

Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions such as:
  • neurological conditions e.g. strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease

  • respiratory disorders e.g. chronic obstructive airways disease, bronchiectasis

  • unsafe mobility / falls

  • mobility equipment prescription as appropriate

  • orthopaedic and muscular skeletal conditions e.g. fractures, joint replacements, soft tissue injury

  • women’s health.
Physiotherapist

Referral criteria

  • All referrals must come through the Regional Referral Centre - Fax  0800 867 333.
  • Clients referred must be unable to access appropriate hospital based physiotherapy.
  • Self referrals are not accepted.

8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays)

  • restrain and secure dogs
  • do not smoke during our visits
  • advise us if there are any hazards that may be around your home or workplace.

Partners in care

Community physiotherapists work within a multidisciplinary team, we may collaborate with other health care providers and local / national community services e.g., Sport Waikato, Stroke Foundation, Arthritis NZ, to enable clients to reach their goals.

Funding

All long term equipment must meet Enable Funding Criteria which your physiotherapist will explain to you.
