Dietitians
What we offerCommunity dietitians provide dietary advise to referred clients and their carers who require specialist dietetic interventions in either district hospitals, outpatients clinics or in their own homes. The dietitian will accept referrals for conditions where dietetic practice will provide positive health outcomes: This may include:
- disorders of the mouth and throat, oesophagus, stomach or duodenum/colon
- malabsorption conditions
- diabetes mellitus
- cardiovascular disease
- neuro-degenerative disorders
- food allergy and intolerance
- cancer
- specialist feeding regimes eg enteral feeding
- post-surgical clients e.g. wound healing
- respiratory problems e.g. CORD.
Hours of service8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays)
