Partners in care

The ear nurses work with the vision and hearing screening programmes in schools and pre schools with a planned annual schedule that complements this screening programme.

The service is provided in local communities in either a mobile or static clinic setting.

Ideally a parent/guardian will accompany a child to the ear nurse clinic as signed parent consent is required before an ear nurse is able to commence treatment.
