Neurological surgery is that specialty which provides the operative management of patients with disorders of the brain, meninges, and spinal cord.

This is a relatively new secondary and tertiary service for the Midland region and contributes to the management of patients with major head trauma as well as pathological disorders.

Who we are: Three neurosurgeons Three registrars One house officer 16-bed ward including high-dependency room. We provide:  Formal and informal teaching, access to multi-specialty teaching and involvement with radiological and operative procedures with our own dedicated theatre. We provide an outpatient service for the Midland region.
