back to Services listing

The Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Unit comprises both inpatient and outpatient facilities. We offer a comprehensive range of services including congenital malformations such as cleft palate, malignant conditions of the skin, trauma and burns including specialised microsurgery to repair and reconstruct nerves, tendons and skin. The hospital also accepts major burns patients for the Midland region.

The inpatient facility consists of a 27-bed ward with specialist nursing staff. The outpatient department is co-located with hand therapy services and dermatology. We do minor operative procedures within the clinic and LA procedures in the day-stay theatre suite.
