There are 25 primary schools spread out over the area. Three are located centrally in Te Kuiti. There are three secondary schools located in Te Kuiti, Otorohanga and Piopio. Waitomo Caves, abseiling, white water rafting and skiing is available for the fanatic fitness guru. The central mountains are only 1.5 hrs drive. Top restaurants and clubs.
