Visiting
Visiting hours are 11am - 1.30pm and 4pm - 8pm daily
Visitors play an important part in your wellbeing and comfort. It is also important for your relatives and friends to keep in contact.

- Visitors must leave promptly at the end of visiting time.
- Visitors are limited to two per patient at any one time.
- Visitors are not permitted to bring into the hospital any drugs, stimulants or alcohol.
- Visitors shall at all times behave in an orderly manner and shall obey the clinical nurse manager / clinical midwife manager or his / her deputy.
- Visitors' children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
- Please do not bring hot food into the wards. The hospital's cafeteria is available for use.

Smoking
Health Waikato has a Smokefree policy.
All visitors, outpatients and contractors wishing to smoke must do so outside Waikato District Health Board grounds.
For support to become smokefree please ask our staff to refer you to the stop smoking service.
Violence
Please respect our staff - they need to work with our patients in a safe environment free from violence and aggression.
