Comments, Compliments, Complaints

How to make a comment, compliment or complaint

Health Waikato welcomes your feedback as an opportunity to improve our services. You can be sure we will treat any complaint confidentially and that a complaint will not adversely affect the care you receive.

If you wish to make a comment, compliment or complaint, there are several ways you can do so:
  1. speak to a staff member or a manager e.g. charge nurse, clinical nurse leader, team leader, etc

  2. complete our brochure "Happy or Unhappy with our Services" available in all clinical areas and return it to us using freepost

  3. phone the administrator Quality and Risk and tell her your concerns - (07) 834 3612

  4. write a letter to the

You may not receive a written response to a compliment, comment or suggestion for improvement. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and endeavour to respond to your issues in a timely manner. We appreciate your feedback - we have learned a lot from what our patients have told us.

All comments, compliments and complaints will be forwarded to the appropriate manager for their information and / or response.
