How to make a comment, compliment or complaint

Health Waikato welcomes your feedback as an opportunity to improve our services. You can be sure we will treat any complaint confidentially and that a complaint will not adversely affect the care you receive.

If you wish to make a comment, compliment or complaint, there are several ways you can do so:
  • speak to a staff member or a manager e.g. charge nurse, clinical nurse leader, team leader, etc

  • complete our brochure "Happy or Unhappy with our Services" available in all clinical areas and return it to us using freepost

  • phone the administrator Quality and Risk and tell her your concerns - (07) 834 3612

  • write a letter to the

You may not receive a written response to a compliment, comment or suggestion for improvement. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and endeavour to respond to your issues in a timely manner. We appreciate your feedback - we have learned a lot from what our patients have told us.

All comments, compliments and complaints will be forwarded to the appropriate manager for their information and / or response.
