Bryant Education Centre

Bryant Education Centre (BEC) provides an education and training facility giving priority use to Waikato District Health Board employees and other organisations that Waikato District Health Board has an alliance with the primary emphasis on professional and clinical teaching.

Users of the Centre participate in national and international conferences, education seminars, professional clinical forums and functions at all levels.  The facility provides 14 meeting rooms and an auditorium that can accommodate up to 200 people and also facilitates the booking process for the Committee and Board rooms within the Hockin building.

To book a room at the BEC a BEC booking form must be completed.  This can be obtained electronically, by fax and/or hard copy. It is vital that all sections of the form are filled in where required and that the education/ learning/ training name is well-defined to ensure participants can easily identify room location on the BEC Daily Summary Activities sheet. 
 
The BEC is located in the Hilda Ross House building, normal operating hours are between 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, however, after-hour requests are accommodated where possible.
