Teen airlifted from Whangamata

Further to this release, the 18-year-old Auckland woman is seriously ill in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit.

The 81 year old Waihi farmer brought to Waikato Hospital on Sunday 20 December after he was pulled under the rear wheel of his tractor is seriously ill but stable in Waikato Hospital's intensive care unit.

A 19-year old Te Kaha man transferred from Tauranga Hospital on Monday afternoon, who suffered serious head injuries in a car crash in Te Kaha, is in a serious condition in intensive care unit.

Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance

At 11pm last night (Wednesday night) the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance was dispatched to Whangamata to retrieve an 18-year-old Auckland teenager. The young woman had fallen at a social gathering and suffered a head injury and loss of consciousness. She was treated at the Whangamata Medical Centre until the helicopter and paramedics arrived. She was flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
