Rangiriri Road crash condition updatesPlease note the earlier releases from Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance and Waikato Police.This family all from Glen Murray, came under the care of our trauma team at Waikato Hospital. Patient updates: Mother, 40, serious condition in intensive care unit Father, 38, under assessment in ED Daughter 3 years 8 months serious condition in intensive care unit Son 2 years six months under assessment in ED. Follow up from accident at Lichfield yesterday morning. A Putaruru woman aged 42 years is serious but stable condition in intensive care unit. A 4wdutility with two adults and two children (believed to be mum dad and their children) on board had rolled off the road landing upside down on the roadside fence. No other vehicle was thought to be involved. Paramedics described the mothers chest injuries as critical and the female child's head injury as serious. They were both airlifted to Waikato Hospital. The father suffered a shoulder injury and the other child was also seriously injured. We here at the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance have a policy of keeping the media informed of our work.
