Rollover near Thames - patients updateA 47-year-old and a 35-year-old, both from Tokoroa, are under assessment in Waikato Hospital's emergency department following this accident north of Thames today.Date: 12 September 2009 Westpac Waikato Air AmbulanceDate: 12 September 2009 The Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance was called out to a 2-vehicle crash along SH25 in Waiomu, north of Thames. A car containing 3 people, 2 adults and a child, was hit broad side by a van with 5 people on board. The child from the car was transported to Auckland Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter; while the driver and another passenger, both from Tokoroa, were transported to Waikato Hospital by the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance helicopter.
