Health Waikato and Connect Supporting Recovery have an exciting new residential rehabilitation service. This is a joint initiative which is based in Hamilton and offers an opportunity for you to contribute to the development of an innovative and forward-focused service.

 

This role will suit someone who has:

·              A passion to deliver innovative recovery focussed services

·              Experience of the mental health sector including services, systems and standards.

·              Excellent communication and negotiation skills

·              A robust personality and positive work attitude

As a Mental Health Professional you will be employed by Waikato District Health Board.

 

We are looking for Occupational Therapists or Social Workers and who have had experience working in mental health and have skills in rehabilitation. 

 

If you are an Occupational Therapist you must be registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and hold a current practicing certificate. 

 

If you are a Social Worker you will need to hold a qualification that is recognised by the Social Workers Registration Board, have a current ANZASW Certificate of Competency or a commitment to obtain one.
