Registered Nurse Women’s Health Part time 20 hours per week Position No. 51003-46893 We’re looking for a registered nurse to join our team within the Women’s Health Service, based on Ward 55 Postnatal women and their babies. This position involves: · Women-centred approach to care of women and their babies · Baby friendly approach to breastfeeding · Liaising with obstetric and gynaecological medical staff · Daily contact with referrers such as lead midwifery carers and GPs. You must be passionate about women’s health and willing to acknowledge change. Previous Previous work in gynaecology and/or obstetrics is preferable. You must have one year post-registration experience, be able to work within a multidisciplinary team, posses excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, be able to problem solve and be able to work in a changing environment. This position requires a flexible approach to shift work which includes night and weekend rotation. Closing date: 22 March 2010 |
