The Regional Cancer Centre, located at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand is comprised of an inpatient ward, day care and chemotherapy suite, outpatient department, and radiation treatment facility.  Being a regional cancer centre, we provide patient support across a wide geographical area.  You will be working with state of the art technology across planning, treatment, etc.

 

This position is responsible for providing radiation physics support to the Regional Cancer Centre.  The job involves the safe handling of radioactive materials and radiation generating equipment, and involves patient contact and attendance at surgical procedures associated with preparation for brachytherapy.
