Voice Communications

Full time 40 hours per week – rostered shifts

In this position you will assist callers/staff with general telephone enquiries, assist hospital staff in emergency situations, carry out functions of patient enquiries at the main hospital reception areas and assist with other tasks required in the Voice Communications Department.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, clarity of speech, the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations and good keyboard skills. 

 

You must be able to work shift work on a rotating 24 hour, 7 day a week roster (includes weekend work).  You should also have knowledge of hospital and Voice Communications procedures, processes and protocols.  Previous call centre experience is essential.
