Are you a Fellow of the Human Genetics Society of Australasia, or equivalent?

Are you eligible to be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist? 

Have you worked in the field of Cytogenetics?

 

We are looking for such a person to lead a small enthusiastic and innovative team in the Pathology Department at Waikato Hospital.

 

You will have substantial technical experience in all areas of cytogenetics, including fluorescence in situ hybridisation analysis, haematological disorders and pre-natal diagnosis, and you will have proven managerial skills.

 

This is a permanent, full-time position. Normal hours of work are from 8.00a.m.to 4.30p.m. Some out-of-hours and weekend duties will be required.
