REACH
REACH
REACH is a trial service in partnership between Waikato DHB and Ministry of Social Development, Work and Income. Its aim is to reduce long term welfare dependency.
The REACH team work with clients on a job seekers benefit, health condition or disability, to take steps to be ready for or in employment at the end of the 12 week programme.
REACH works with clients, to identify their goals, and take steps, with the support of the team, to achieve these goals. The service is client focused and tailored for each individual entering the programme.
The programme is voluntary and does not affect client’s benefits.
